‘Legendary experimentalist’ brings Toronto’s BarChef to New York City in spring

Toronto’s BarChef is bringing it’s world-class cocktail program to the Big Apple, opening in New York City this spring. 

Dubbed as a “legendary experimentalist” by the New York Times, Toronto BarChef owner Frankie Solarik is bringing one of the world’s most progressive cocktail bars to New York City in spring 2025. 

Solarik, a pioneer of the contemporary, modernist cocktail, and featured judge on Netflix’s ‘Drink Masters’, first opened BarChef in 2008 with the idea of becoming one of the world’s most recognized and progressive cocktail programs. Now, under the bright lights, the Big Apple is set to become it’s newest home.
