There’s still a risk of thunderstorms through parts of Ontario for today, April 21.
But once those clouds move out of the way, it will be an uneventful week, says Environment and Climate Change Canada.
“Spring weather can be a roller-coaster ride, but it doesn’t always have to be,” meteorologist Henry Fung said.

“Today is showers and low risk of thunderstorms, there’s a couple of strikes in Vaughan right now,” Fung said. “It’s going to clear out in the late afternoon/evening hours, and it will be pretty clear after that.”
The wind will be strongest around Lake Huron, with some gusting during thunderstorms, but nothing too unruly.

Environment Canada has , with winds up to 80 km/h in the Windsor, Leamington and London area.
On Tuesday, there will be a mix of sunshine and clouds, but no precipitation is anticipated.

“There is a chance of showers maybe Thursday, but more so Friday night,” Fung said. “Otherwise, it’s a fairly pleasant week.”

Temperature-wise, we will get more seasonal degrees this week, with daytime highs going up to 13-15 C.
“The normal for this time of year is 14 C, so it’s seasonal norms.”
Wednesday will bring on the sun, before more clouds roll into the area sometime Thursday.
With those clouds, rain is expected to follow Friday, with isolated showers coming into Ontario from the Midwest United States.
