Community groups are encouraging people to come out and learn, share ideas and work towards the goal of tripling clean energy in five years. Some involved are Seniors for Climate Action NOW!, Rotary Club of Guelph, Water Watchers and ߲ݴýClimate Action Network.

It’s ߲ݴýEarth Week and community groups are holding events to draw attention to the climate crisis. Some groups involved are (SCAN!), , and (GCAN).

Earth Day is Tuesday April 22 and the theme this year is “Our Power, Our Planet,” said SCAN! in a press release adding the goal is to work toward tripling global generation of clean electricity by 2030.
