If you’ve got a hankering for a Big Mac, Quarter Pounder with Cheese or a Filet-O-Fish, chances are there’s a McDonald’s restaurant open on New Year’s Day to satisfy your craving.
A McDonald’s Canada spokesperson noted in an email that each franchisee operates with their own set of hours.

But a quick search of the company’s online database reveals most locations remain open 24 hours on Jan. 1. A select few are open with reduced hours, including those located within Walmart stores.
