For some, that may be just the encouragement they need to get out in search of some local libations.

Ontario Craft Brewers has more than 100 craft brewery members and a resource on its website helps you find them.
The organization’s , developed in collaboration with the Culinary Tourism Alliance, allows you to look for craft breweries by region, so whether you are in the GTA, cottage country, eastern Ontario, northern Ontario, the Kitchener-Waterloo area or anywhere else in the province, there’s likely a craft brewery near you to find.
Craft breweries produce no more than 400,000 hectolitres of beer annually and are independent of large international beer companies.

To be considered an Ontario craft brewer, a brewery must produce at least 51 per cent of its Ontario sales at its Ontario brewery.
