U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariffs on Canada are  following a call between the leader and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
The tariffs, which were set to commence on Tuesday, , cause thousands of Canadians to l, drive up inflation and seriously impact the country’s economy.Â
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Trudeau he made to Trump to delay a full-blown trade war.

- Canada will implement a $1.3-billion “border plan,” which will reinforce Canadian borders with “new choppers, technology and personnel,” as well as “enhanced coordination,” with the U.S., to “stop the flow of fentanyl.”
