Commuters can take the GO train or GO bus along the Kitchener, Milton and Lakeshore West (Servicing Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga and more). Before reaching Union, the Kitchener line includes stops through Guelph, Acton, Georgetown, Brampton and Malton.
Commuters wishing to take the  to Union can connect to the subway from points as far west as Vaughan and Kipling. Another option is the  from Toronto Pearson International Airport.
From the east
The Lakeshore East GO train line goes as far east as Oshawa, also servicing Whitby, Ajax, and Pickering. It stops through Scarborough on its way to Union. Various GO Bus stops through Durham connect to a GO train station.
From the north
There are GO train and/or GO bus lines connecting Barrie, Richmond Hill and Stouffville. The Barrie line also services communities such as Bradford, East Gwillimbury, Newmarket, Aurora and more. The Stouffville line includes stops through Markham, Unionville and more.
