The consequences of stunt driving, street racing in Ontario
Anyone convicted of stunt driving or street racing can receive a post-conviction licence suspension of a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years for the first conviction.
According to , drivers convicted of stunt driving or street racing can be issued a fine of between $2,000 and $10,000, a jail term of up to six months, six demerit points and a mandatory driver improvement course.
They can also receive a post-conviction licence suspension of between one year and three years for the first conviction.
A second conviction can lead to a post-conviction licence suspension of between three and 10 years.

A third conviction can result in a lifetime licence suspension, with a possible reduction to 10 years under certain circumstances.
Subsequent convictions lead to a lifetime licence suspension.
