Are you ready for the annual ߲ݴýStudio Tour this weekend? Local artists are opening up their studios to the public on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 20 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A juried collection of professional artists and craftspeople join together each year to put ߲ݴýartists on the map.
“Come and learn what we do as artists; see our workspaces, ask questions and poke around on a self-guided tour throughout beautiful Guelph,” said the group on their website. “Meet with us, browse our galleries and take home wonderful memories and special treasures.”

This is a great opportunity for people to support local artists and find the perfect piece to add to their collection or give as a gift. Or, if they are looking for inspiration, this is the perfect event. You can visit as many or as few artists as you like, but there is a draw prize that you can enter if you get signatures from four different artists on the tour. You can pick up your ballot to win $500 toward work from any of the artists in any location and drop it off at one too.
There will surely be something to pique your interest, whether it is an abstract or realistic painting, like a portrait or nature scene, or pottery, jewelry, a sculpture, toy or more.
