Sheertex to temporarily lay off 40 per cent of staff in part due to U.S. tariff threats.

SRTX, the Canadian startup that makes the popular “rip-resistant” Sheertex tights, will layoff 40 per cent of its workers due to the looming threat of U.S. tariffs on Canadian imports. 

The tights are made at the company’s factory and headquarters located in Montreal. Sheertex pantyhose can be bought through major retailers in Canada such as H&M, Costco, Amazon and Simons.
