Two seniors were allegedly struck by a vehicle while walking towards an Eramosa retail store last month. A 95-year-old Guelph-Eramosa Township driver is facing a charge. Â
A 95-year-old man has been charged following the death of a º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½woman in a collision last month.
A 72-year-old woman and a 74-year-old man were walking toward a store when they were allegedly struck by a Chevrolet sedan leaving the parking lot on Eramosa Road at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 26, º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½Police Service said in a news release.
Police said the woman sustained severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, and the man, who had minor injuries, was transported to º¬Ð߲ݴ«Ã½General Hospital.

Police said the driver, a 95-year-old from Guelph-Eramosa Township, remained at the scene and was co-operative. On Sunday, Oct. 6, he was charged with careless driving causing death and is scheduled to appear in court in December.
